About
PiP.Art presents books, prints, and objects created from the artwork of Paula Phelan, founder of PiP Art Studio
The shop is designed for discovery: a place to find beautiful, thoughtful, unusual work that can be collected, given, used, or returned to over time. The collections include mythology, wildlife, nature, women’s history, imagined beings, symbolic animals, and atmospheric worlds.
Some pieces stand on their own as gifts or everyday art. Others serve as an introduction to larger books, image sequences, and bodies of work housed at PiP Art Studio.
About Paula Phelan
Paula Phelan is the artist, writer, photographer, and founder of PiP Art Studio.
Her work draws on decades of writing, travel, observation, and image-making. The Studio brings together photography, painting, drawing, books, mixed media, and visual experiments into a broad practice concerned with memory, place, nature, women’s history, wit, and the persistence of imagination.
The work often begins in the act of noticing: something seen, remembered, questioned, or held long enough to become an image. Across the Studio, individual works gather into books, sequences, collections, and visual archives.
PiP Art Studio is the creative home for the full body of work. PiP.Art offers selected books, prints, cards, and art pieces from the Studio’s collections.
